I am Lisa Forrest owner and breeder at Freckled Park Border Collies along with my husband Troy. I have been involved with dogs all my life as a young girl growing up with our working kelpies and other farm animals, I went onto complete my accreditation in veterinary nursing which I have practiced for almost a decade. I adore all animals but have always had a passion for dogs.
Freckled Park Border Collies is located near the regional town of Wingham on the Mid North Coast. Our dogs enjoy a large acreage to explore and are very much an active part of our everyday life. Our border Collies are raised alongside our two young children, and have exposure to all that farm life has to offer which includes horses, cattle and our little fluffy chooks.  We enjoy dog sports on weekends and look forward to competing with our own dogs in the confirmation ring in the near future.
We are dedicated ethical breeders who strive to raise puppies who go on to be well-adjusted, intelligent dogs with biddable temperaments and sound confirmation. Our aim is to breed Border Collies that suit a variety of households, be it as a forever family companion or competing in the show ring, agility, obedience, herding, or flyball whilst always improving the quality of our breeding dogs over time to better this beautiful breed.
When you purchase a puppy from Freckled Park Border Collies you do so knowing that comprehensive DNA testing and Hip and Elbow scoring has been conducted on ALL of our dogs, to ensure we only breed with sound healthy dogs that go onto produce puppies that we hope will live long healthy lives as a loved member of your family.
We at Freckled Park are registered breeders and operate under the code of ethics as set out by DOGS NSW and the Australian National Kennel Council (ANKC).
